Candidates with backgrounds in Field Service, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Pump/Motor Repair, Water Treatment, or Chemical Equipment are encouraged to apply.

About the Role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support chemical operations at a large paper mill. Safety, communication, and hands-on mechanical skills are the top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support bulk chemical deliveries and safely perform chemical transfers
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical feed and monitoring equipment
  • Perform basic testing, dosage verification, and treatment monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment
  • Track chemical/product inventory
  • Maintain clean and organized equipment and storage areas

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Hands-on mechanical repair experience
  • Experience with pumps and motors preferred
  • HVAC, water/gas plumbing, installation, or troubleshooting experience is highly applicable
  • Comfortable working around industrial noise, heat/cold, chemicals, and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must live within 30 minutes of Roanoke Rapids, NC
