About Us:
An educational organization is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician with expertise and professionalism to deliver premier level support to in-house operations at our Tampa Location.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to computer users. Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. May also provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Interfacing within an educational environment & servicing the sites requests
- maintenance, system analysis, troubleshooting, phone, on-site support
- PC troubleshooting and repair
- Common desktop application support
- Moving computers & standing for periods of the day
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Graduate Degree
- 5-8 years relevant work experience
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Understanding of Windows operating systems: XP, Windows 7 & Windows 10
- Networking: LAN, WAN, WIRELESS
- Configuring Internet Connectivity: T1, DSL, Cable, Metro Ethernet & OC3
- Network Appliances: Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points
- Common Desktop Productivity Applications: MS Office & QuickBooks

· Ability to Pass a Background Check
· Fluency in the English language, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
