We are seeking an energetic and passionate Doggy Day Care Supervisor to lead our team in delivering outstanding care and enrichment for our canine guests. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the doggy day care, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all dogs.
• Oversee dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote positive interactions among pets.
• Train and mentor staff on dog training techniques, pet grooming, pet sitting, and animal handling best practices.
• Monitor dog activities, provide enrichment opportunities, and ensure proper pet care according to established protocols.
• Maintain safety standards by managing animal restraint procedures and responding swiftly to any behavioral or health concerns.
• Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals as needed to support daily operations.
• Foster excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns.

Experience

• Proven experience in dog handling, training, or pet care roles such as veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, or pet groomer.
• Strong background in animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff.
• Experience with veterinary procedures or veterinary experience is highly desirable.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a pet care setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Premier Doggy Day Care and Overnight Facility.
Dogs are separated by size and temperament, playing under certified trained personnel.
Large indoor and outdoor play areas.
Clients are able to see their dogs at play time through web-cams.
Dogs must go through a behavior assessment before they are accepted to stay.
