JOB SUMMARY

Identify and pull correct material identified on a manufacturing order, set up and operate Amada Press Brake to dimensions specified on manufacturing work order, complete work order and deliver finished material to other work areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

· Essential duties require presence in the workplace on a regular basis: in order to accomplish this, regular attendance and punctuality must be maintained.

· Operate Press Brake.

· Keep work area including machine surfaces clean at all times.

· Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.

· Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

· Maintain safe working practice’s and insure area is clean and free of any possible dangerous situations.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· U.S. Person status required due to export control.

· Knowledge of and aptitude toward mechanical processes and techniques.

· Knowledge of and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment (such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers).

· Ability to identify hazardous materials and working conditions and apply the proper safety precautions and PPE required for each.

· Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner.

· Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work order instructions.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or verbal instructions.

· Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).

· Ability to accept of criticism and deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations.

· Ability to utilize interpersonal and communication techniques, working in a team environment, and dealing with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Exposure to Manufacturing Environment preferred.

· Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material

· Constant use hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools

· Frequent repetitive motions

· Constant requirement of specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.

· Constantly wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).
