Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to students in accordance with district policies and state regulations
• Assess and address student health concerns and medical needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment
• Support health screenings, student wellness initiatives, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
• Knowledge of school health regulations and best practices preferred
