We are looking for a Desktop/Network Technician to support and strengthen enterprise network operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining secure, reliable connectivity across network infrastructure while providing hands-on technical support for systems, devices, and user issues. The ideal candidate will combine strong troubleshooting ability with practical experience in network performance, security administration, and infrastructure support.


Provide first-level support for network connectivity, hardware, and basic infrastructure issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve networking, hardware, and software problems for end users.

Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and network equipment.

Support network hardware including switches, cabling, wireless access points, and other infrastructure components.

Participate in rack-and-stack activities, cable management, and network closet organization.

Assist with device imaging, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements.

Monitor and respond to service requests, documenting issues and resolutions within the ticketing system.

Help maintain inventory of networking and computer equipment.

Perform basic Active Directory account administration and user support.

Assist senior team members with network maintenance, system upgrades, and infrastructure projects.

Support backup, recovery, and routine system maintenance activities.

Follow established security policies, procedures, and technology standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of equipment, configurations, and support activities.

Stay current on networking and technology fundamentals through ongoing training and development.

Associate degree, technical diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of networking, IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical experience.

Understanding of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching, and wireless networking.

Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
