Position: Field Technician

Location: 2271 Scranton Rd Cleveland Ohio 44113

Schedule: M-F 9pm - 6am for first month, then shifts to day schedule (8am - 5pm)

Pay Rate: $19-21/hr

Duration: 9 month contract to hire

Start Date: ASAP

Must Haves:

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Experience with logging data and keeping track of work logs
• Responsible, reliable, and team oriented individual
• Wanting to grow within the construction lab
  
  Plusses:
  Prior asphalt exp or asphalt coring exp

Job Description:

Our client, a leading Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firm, is seeking a motivated Field Technician open to night shift work for the first month to support the asphalt coring team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in construction, materials testing, or laboratory operations. No prior experience is required.

Day to Day:

• Drive to construction sites throughout the area to support daily operations
• Keep log of activity on construction sites
• Lift and carry equipment samples, and materials weighing up to 50+ lbs.
• Learn to use an asphalt drill / how to asphalt core
• Collect, prepare, and transport concrete samples for testing
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Work outdoors on active construction sites in various weather conditions
