About the Role:
Lyons Truck Parts Inc in Kenosha, WI is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team! If you're passionate about keeping heavy-duty trucks running at peak performance and want to work with a company that values your expertise, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
- Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Inspect and repair air brakes, transmission, steering and suspension systems
- Document all service and repair work accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with shop standards
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy-Duty Truck Technician
- Strong knowledge of drivetrain removal and airbrakes
- ASE certification or equivalent trade school/vocational training preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
