Dishwasher

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is responsible for keeping dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas clean and sanitary while supporting the kitchen team with basic cleaning and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Load and unload the dishwashing machine properly.
• Keep the dish area, kitchen floors, and work surfaces clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Take out trash and recycling as needed.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks.
• Store clean dishes and equipment in their proper locations.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift or carry kitchen items.
• Willingness to follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting kitchen supplies. The employee must be able to work around heat, water, cleaning products, and a busy kitchen environment.
