Job Description
Our client is seeking a Collections Support Specialist to join its team. This position provides administrative, documentation, and correspondence support for collection and account resolution activities. What You Will Do:
- Prepare, review, track, and maintain letters, notices, and other time-sensitive correspondence
- Maintain accurate account records and documentation within internal systems
- Review reports, work queues, and requests to identify and complete required administrative tasks
- Retrieve, organize, and compile account information and supporting documentation
- Process mail and provide general administrative support to internal teams
- Identify discrepancies or exceptions and route them to the appropriate team member
- Assist with reporting, audits, special projects, and other departmental needs
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of administrative support, financial services, loan servicing, collections, or related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and correspondence
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete time-sensitive work within established deadlines
- Ability to work independently while following established processes and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
- Comfortable using computer applications, office technology, and document management systems
