Crew Lead / Moving Team Lead

CRDN of DFW
4830 Lakawana St.
Dallas, TX 75247

Full-Time M-F no nights or weekends| $18.00-$20.00 per hour | On-the-Job Training

Looking for More Than Just Another Moving Job?

At CRDN of DFW, we don't just move boxes. We help families put their lives back together after fires, floods, and other property losses.

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Crew Lead / Moving Team Lead who enjoys working with people, leading a team, and staying active throughout the day.

You'll lead a small crew responsible for carefully packing, moving, inventorying, transporting, and returning customers' belongings. Every job is different, and you'll work both in customers' homes and at our Dallas facility.

Restoration experience is a plus, but not required. If you're a strong leader with moving, delivery, warehouse, furniture, construction, or similar hands-on experience, we can train you.

Why You'll Like Working Here

  • $18.00-$20.00 per hour
  • Full-time position
  • Paid Time Off
  • Health, dental and vision insurance options
  • On-the-job training
  • Local work throughout the DFW Metroplex
  • Opportunity to lead and develop a team
  • Variety of work instead of doing the same thing every day
  • Established company and growing operation
  • Opportunity to learn the restoration industry
  • Work that makes a difference for families after a property loss

What You'll Do

As a Crew Lead, you'll take responsibility for your crew and help make sure each job is completed safely, accurately, and professionally.

Your day may include:

  • Leading a crew at residential and commercial job sites
  • Carefully packing customers' belongings
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Moving furniture, boxes, electronics, and other household contents
  • Creating accurate inventories of items being removed from a property
  • Taking photographs and documenting the condition of contents
  • Preparing items for transportation and restoration
  • Returning restored belongings to customers
  • Communicating professionally with homeowners
  • Keeping your crew organized and productive
  • Training and coaching team members
  • Following company safety procedures
  • Communicating job progress and concerns to management

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience leading or supervising others
  • Are dependable and show up ready to work
  • Enjoy hands-on, physical work
  • Take care when handling other people's belongings
  • Can communicate professionally with customers
  • Are organized and pay attention to details
  • Can work independently and make good decisions in the field
  • Have a positive attitude and work well with a team
  • Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Are comfortable driving company vehicles as needed
  • Can safely lift and move furniture, boxes, and household contents throughout the workday

Experience in moving, restoration, delivery, warehouse operations, furniture delivery, construction, mitigation, or similar hands-on work is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

This Is a Physical, Hands-On Position

This isn't a desk job. You will regularly be on your feet, lifting, carrying, bending, loading, unloading, and working inside customers' homes and businesses.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in getting the job done right.

More Than Moving Boxes

Our customers are often meeting us after one of the worst days they've experienced. Their home may have suffered a fire, flood, or other major loss.

The things we handle aren't just "stuff." They may be wedding photos, children's belongings, family furniture, electronics, clothing, or items they've owned for decades.

That's why how we treat the customer and their belongings matters.

We're looking for a Crew Lead who understands that you can be productive and efficient while still showing compassion, patience, and respect.

About CRDN of DFW

CRDN of DFW specializes in the restoration of textiles, electronics, art, and household contents following fire, water, and other property losses.

We work with homeowners, businesses, contractors, and major insurance carriers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, customer service, and treating our customers' belongings with the same care and respect we would want someone to show our own.

Ready to Lead a Crew?

If you're dependable, enjoy working with your hands, have leadership ability, and want a job where the work you do actually matters, we'd like to meet you.

You don't have to come from the restoration industry. If you bring the work ethic, leadership, customer service, and willingness to learn, we'll teach you the restoration side.

Apply today and let's talk.
