Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver - 4-Day Workweek

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional drivers to join our team providing non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) across Eastern North Carolina. You will be operating 7-passenger ambulatory vans and dual-wheelchair hybrid vehicles, transporting clients safely to and from dialysis appointments, medical centers, and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers safely and punctually to medical facilities across Eastern NC.
• Assist passengers entering/exiting vehicles, including operating wheelchair ramps and securing 4-point wheelchair tie-down systems.
• Maintain complete daily trip logs and complete electronic trip verification via mobile apps.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety equipment standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Driver History: Must have at least 15 years of driving history.
• Clean Driving Record: 0 driving points and 0 insurance points on your record for the past 3 years (MVR check required).
• Licensing: Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• Background & Drug Screen: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and drug screening.
• Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification or PASS certification is a plus (training assistance available).
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a respectful demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers.
