Field Foreman
Job Description
The Field Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing medium-sized teams of 5-15 workers on construction sites, ensuring that projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Foreman coordinates daily activities, enforces safety standards, and maintains clear communication across teams. Frequent travel to multiple sites is expected to manage resources and monitor project progress effectively using a mix of traditional hand tools and standard voice and data technologies. Must have a clean driving record and background check.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise medium teams to meet project goals
- Enforce strict safety compliance on all job sites
- Coordinate project activities and resource allocation
- Manage equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Conduct quality control and site inspections regularly
- Facilitate communication between team members and management
- Provide training and development to crew members
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to the Project Manager
- Manage schedules and adjust staffing as needed
- Attend weekly construction meetings to discuss progress and issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in construction supervision
