Tax Manager Public Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple facets of our tax practice by delivering quality tax services to build on our firm’s solid relationships with clients. The successful candidate is adept at skillfully balancing efficient engagement management achieving quality outcomes that meet clients’ objectives while developing staff technical expertise in a team friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely tax services in compliance with laws and regulations
• Enhance client relationships by delivering tax planning and consulting services
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Collaborate with staff on engagements in a thoughtful, meaningful teamwork environment
• Manage tax compliance process delivering tax returns and projects on schedule
• Improve processes by introducing innovative ideas and practical approaches
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Review and develop tax staff working paper support

Skills

• Experienced and technically sound in all facets of partnership taxation
• Proven work experience as a tax manager with analytical skills and detail orientation
• Experienced with CCH ProSystems fx, CCH Engagement, CCH Axcess Workflow, Word, Excel and MS Outlook
• Practical problem solver while cognizant of client budgets and deadlines
• Client centric in fostering existing and new client relationships
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
