About The Stewart Organization

The Stewart Organization has been a trusted partner in managed print, office equipment, software, and service solutions for decades. Founded in 1981, we’ve built our reputation not on sales alone but on commitment, reliability, and exceptional customer experience. We are a certified Canon and HP dealer with nationwide reach and a “service first” culture that drives long-term partnerships.

Position Overview

As an MPS Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner for our clients, focusing on maintaining strong relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with our Managed Print Services Program. Your role centers on proactive account management, including monitoring client needs, coordinating technology solutions, and facilitating support to optimize customer efficiency. Technical knowledge of printers, copiers, and related technology is essential to effectively manage accounts and address client requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, drive retention, and help clients fully utilize Stewart’s Printers as a Service (PaaS) and office technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary point of accountability for assigned accounts — build trust, anticipate needs, and deepen long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess satisfaction, fleet performance, cost trends, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Visit customer locations to assess, replace, and refresh printers and copiers on a schedule, while ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate on both existing and new account projects as they are identified and developed.

Solution & Technology Support

  • Understand customer workflows and recommend tools (e.g., print management software, fleet optimization) to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work in tandem with field service technicians to ensure seamless installations, technical escalations, and service follow-through.
  • Act as liaison between customer IT teams and internal technical staff when integrating or troubleshooting networked print devices.
  • Support onboarding and migration planning for new and upgraded office systems.

Service Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching with service teams to meet client expectations.
  • Proactively communicate updates, service outcomes, and follow-up plans with customers to ensure high engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track customer issues, resolutions, and support history in CRM or Service tools.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience, account management, or technical support environments (office technology or IT preference).
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts related to print environments, networks, and software.
  • High degree of professionalism, customer service mindset, and team collaboration.
  • Comfortable traveling within assigned territory and entering customer environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM tools.
