Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools efficiently and safely.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks with proper techniques to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, and common areas regularly.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks, including basic repairs and painting when required.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure personal safety and compliance with regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
