Lead Safety Coordinator
Job Description
Lead Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy for its employees. As well as handling job site escalations in a professional, diligent manner on critical job issues.
Responsibilities:
· Ensures that employees follow safety regulations through site walks
· Will conduct on-site training on safety procedures as well as tool certification
· Ensures that HACI safety programs are working effectively and efficiently
· Ensures that HACI is compliant with OSHA standards
· Investigating incidents and report on safety issues
· Conduct HACI new hire safety training
· Attending job specific meetings and learning sessions to represent HACI
· Represent HACI in incident RCA meetings, OSHA inspections/investigations, and any GC escalated
issues
Job requirements
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs
· Will require the ability to walk and climb steps for an extended periods of time in summer heat
· 5+ years construction experience Safety experience
· Valid driver’s license with clear driving record
· Basic MS Office experience
· Bilingual a plus
· OSHA 30/hr
· OSHA 510/500 a plus
· Must possess excellent communication skills
· Experience leading incident RCA meetings
