Construction & Agricultural Equipment Mechanic

Seven Oaks is seeking a full-time Construction & Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, takes pride in their work, and values a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment. In this role, you’ll help keep our construction equipment, agricultural machinery, trucks, trailers, and shop equipment operating safely and reliably through quality repairs, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and is committed to quality workmanship and keeping our operations running smoothly.

General Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment, agricultural equipment, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and shop machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services to maximize equipment uptime.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, brake, suspension, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, service, and inspection records.
• Keep the shop clean and organized, and ensure tools, parts, and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow shop procedures to promote safety, efficiency, consistency, and accountability.
• Assist with emergency equipment repairs during busy seasons or unexpected breakdowns.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience repairing heavy machinery, including agricultural equipment, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, etc
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
