About the Role

MCC is looking for a dependable, hands-on Equipment Preparation & Delivery Technician to join our Memphis team. This role is responsible for preparing equipment for customer delivery, ensuring products are properly inspected and tested, and safely transporting and delivering equipment to customer locations.

This is an active, physical position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, takes pride in doing things correctly, and understands the importance of providing a professional and courteous experience for every MCC client.

What You’ll Do

• Receive and unbox new equipment and products.
• Inspect equipment for damage, defects, or missing components.
• Perform basic testing and operational checks to ensure equipment is ready for delivery.
• Prepare and organize equipment for transportation.
• Safely load equipment onto company vehicles.
• Drive company vehicles to customer locations and deliver equipment.
• Occasionally drive to our other offices to assist with installations in Jackson TN, Nashville TN, and Ridgeland MS.
• Safely unload equipment at customer sites.
• Interact with clients in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
• Represent MCC positively while working at customer locations.
• Follow proper procedures for handling, transporting, and protecting equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete required paperwork, documentation, or delivery records.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential equipment issues.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse operations, equipment installation, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Must successfully complete MCC’s pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Safely load and unload equipment from company vehicles.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and maneuver equipment.
• Safely perform physical tasks associated with preparing and delivering equipment.

This is a full-time, in-person position based out of MCC’s Memphis office.
