Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our medium to small-sized team. This hands-on role involves performing essential landscape maintenance tasks while working closely with the Crew Leader and Operations Manager. We value dependability, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company. No extensive landscaping experience is required, as we prioritize a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and readiness to improve skills through ongoing training and cross-role opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing on assigned properties
• Conduct property cleanup and bed maintenance with attention to detail
• Follow directions from Crew Leader, completing tasks safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment as needed
• Fuel, clean, maintain, and properly store landscape equipment
• Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, equipment, and jobsites
• Protect client property by working carefully and safely using required PPE
• Report damaged equipment, property issues, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Collaborate effectively with crew members to complete weekly scheduled routes
• Participate in seasonal snow operations when assigned
• Continuously learn and uphold Garrick-Santo's quality landscape maintenance standards

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout a full workday

• Safety-conscious attitude and respect for equipment and client property
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in landscape maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with equipment operation and safety compliance
• Strong teamwork, communication, time management, and attention to detail
• Physical stamina and adaptability to diverse job conditions
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
