We're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Optician who is passionate about helping patients see and look their best while delivering an outstanding patient experience. Licensure is not required, but we welcome experienced optical professionals who are eager to grow with our practice.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best fit their vision needs, lifestyle, and personal style.
- Educate patients on lens materials, coatings, and premium optical products.
- Take accurate optical measurements and ensure proper frame fitting and adjustments.
- Verify prescriptions and oversee accurate eyewear ordering and dispensing.
- Perform eyeglass adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with optical laboratories to track and manage orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service from check-in through eyewear delivery.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with insurance verification, and support front office operations as needed.
- Contribute to daily office operations with a flexible, team-first attitude as our practice continues to grow.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an optician or in an optometry or ophthalmology practice is required.
- State optical license is highly recommended, ABO certification is a plus.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to confidently recommend eyewear and lens options that meet patients' needs.
- Knowledge of vision insurance plans and optical dispensing procedures is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to contribute to a growing practice.
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for creating meaningful relationships with patients and coworkers.
- Part-time or full-time applicants welcome, including availability to work some Saturdays.
