Survey Part Chief/Jr Party Chief

Small, Professional Land Surveying Company looking for a dependable Party Chief or Jr. Party Chief to support field operations with accurate work, good judgment, and clear communication. This role includes traditional survey tasks and occasional UAS (drone) operations for mapping and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Boundary, topo, ALTA, and construction staking
• Operate GPS and robotic total stations
• Perform UAS flights for mapping and documentation
• Maintain organized notes, files, and daily reports
• Communicate clearly with the office and contractors
• Travel for projects across Colorado and occasionally into neighboring states
• Occasional overnight travel when required

Requirements

• Party Chief: 3+ years of field surveying experience
• Jr. Party Chief: 1–2 years of field experience and willingness to learn
• Understanding of boundary evidence and construction workflows
• Experience with Trimble equipment or ability to learn quickly
• UAS experience and Part 107 certification desirable
• Valid driver’s license and dependable work habits
• Comfortable working outdoors year‐round
