Service Advisor

We're looking for a Service Advisor to be the front line between our customers and our techs. You'll handle intake, communicate repair needs and pricing, manage work orders, and keep jobs moving through the shop efficiently. This is a great fit for someone who's comfortable with technology, quick to learn shop management software, and confident talking to both fleet managers and independent truckers.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and gather vehicle/complaint info at intake
• Communicate with techs to translate diagnostic findings into clear, customer-facing explanations
• Write up estimates and get customer approval before work begins
• Manage work orders and job status in our shop management system (Fullbay)
• Order parts and coordinate with suppliers
• Handle invoicing, warranty documentation, and follow-up calls
• Keep fleet accounts updated on multi-truck jobs and turnaround times
• Maintain clear, organized digital records

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills — comfortable on the phone and in person
• Tech-savvy: quick to pick up software, comfortable with tablets/computers, not intimidated by new systems
• Basic understanding of vehicles/trucking a plus (doesn't need to be a technician)
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple jobs at once
• Customer service mindset — calm under pressure, especially with fleet customers with trucks down
• Reliable and punctual

Nice to Have but not necessary

• Experience with shop management software (Fullbay, Motor, similar)
• Diesel or heavy truck industry familiarity
• Prior service writer/advisor experience
