Cashier / Front Counter Team Member

Approximately 25 hours per week

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, hardworking Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join a busy locally owned sandwich shop in Asheville.

This is not a position where you’ll only stand at a register. We need someone who enjoys working with customers and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep the restaurant clean, stocked, organized, and running smoothly.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM–3:00 PM

Applicants must be able to consistently work this schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Operate the POS/register and accurately handle transactions
• Answer phones and assist customers with orders
• Bag and organize pickup and delivery orders
• Restock the front counter, beverage station, chips, condiments, and supplies
• Assist with basic food preparation
• Drop and prepare bacon as needed
• Wash dishes
• Keep the dining room and customer areas clean
• Sweep, mop, wipe tables, and assist with restroom cleaning
• Refill backup condiments and other supplies
• Help the team during busy periods
• Complete other cleaning, stocking, and restaurant tasks as assigned
