Mechanical or Plumbing Superintendent – College Station, TX
We’re recruiting for an experienced Mechanical or Plumbing Superintendent for a growing contractor in the Bryan/College Station area. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong field experience and wants to expand their skill set across both mechanical and plumbing.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all facets of mechanical or plumbing work on commercial projects
- Oversee field operations, crews, schedules, quality, and productivity
- Work directly with clients and project teams as needed
- Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders
- Review plans, troubleshoot issues, and help keep projects moving
- Maintain a professional presence on the jobsite and in client interactions
- Work with tools and crews when needed
- Cross-train in the mechanical/plumbing discipline where needed
Cross-Training & Growth
If your background is primarily mechanical, you’ll have the opportunity to be trained on the plumbing side and work toward obtaining a Journeyman Plumbing License. Likewise, candidates coming from a strong plumbing background will have the opportunity to expand their mechanical knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Mechanical Superintendent OR Plumbing Superintendent
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Ability to manage the full scope of field operations within your trade
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients in a professional manner
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to train and continue learning
- Clean driving record and background
- Ability to work on travel projects when needed
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Bryan/College Station area
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000–$100,000+ based on experience
- Roughly $40s/hour equivalent
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Fuel allowance
- Per diem and/or lodging for travel projects
- Full benefits after 90 days
