Pediatrician
Job Description
The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive care to children at a community health center, focusing on routine well-child visits, acute illness management, and chronic disease management. As a member of the general medical team reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the pediatrician will deliver patient-centered healthcare within standard office hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and perform accurate diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer immunizations and monitor child growth
- Provide parental counseling and education
- Maintain thorough medical documentation
- Ensure consistent follow-up care for patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of pediatric residency
- Valid medical license
- Board certification in pediatrics
- Expertise in pediatric care, diagnosis, and treatment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong knowledge of child development
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
