Floor Technicians

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and well-maintained floors and facility areas. This position performs floor-care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and operation of floor-care equipment while following all safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Operate floor-care equipment including scrubbers, buffers, and riding scrubbers.
• Perform carpet cleaning and extraction using extraction machines.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors.
• Clean and maintain floors using appropriate floor-care methods and equipment.
• Clean entrance door thresholds, frames, and edging.
• Perform restroom detailing and cleaning.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with building occupants and assigned personnel.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other team members.
• Participate in required training and on-the-job training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience required.
• Experience with:
• • Stripping floors
  • Waxing floors
  • Buffing
  • Scrubbers
  • Buffers
  • Riding scrubbers
  • Carpet extraction
  • Floor-care equipment
• Resume required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Pay: $16.00–$16.50 per hour
Based on experience | Paid weekly

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM–6:00 AM
