Cashier

We are looking for a dependable and friendly Cashier / Store Associate to join our gas station and convenience store team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payments.
• Process Texas Lottery sales, payouts, and scratch-off tickets according to store procedures.
• Sell tobacco and alcohol products while following Texas age-verification requirements and store policies.
• Check customer IDs when required and refuse prohibited sales.
• Stock and organize drinks, snacks, tobacco products, coolers, and other merchandise.
• Keep the register area, counters, store, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Monitor fuel pump transactions and assist customers with basic pump-related questions.
• Perform shift-opening and shift-closing duties as assigned.
• Follow all store policies regarding cash handling, lottery, tobacco, alcohol, and customer safety.
• Assist with receiving and organizing merchandise when needed.
• Complete other store duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable handling cash and using a POS/register system.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light stocking/lifting.
• Must follow all applicable age-verification and restricted-product sales requirements.
• Previous gas station, convenience store, retail, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be available for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
