Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join an established electrical company in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a hands-on position involving wire, inventory, material handling, customer orders, and general warehouse operations.


Electrical wire experience is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!


HEAVY LIFTING & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


Candidates MUST be comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs. and performing physically demanding work throughout the entire shift.

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Push and maneuver heavy wire reels.
  • Load and unload heavy wire reels, pallets, and trucks.
  • Stand and walk on concrete floors for the entire shift.
  • Climb ladders and repeatedly bend, reach, push, pull, carry, and move materials.
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move heavy materials.


*This is NOT a light-duty warehouse position. Heavy lifting and physical labor are essential parts of this job.*


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull, measure, cut, coil, and respool wire according to customer specifications.
  • Verify wire product codes, gauges, colors, and quantities.
  • Prepare orders for shipping and customer will-call pickup.
  • Stock wire racks and organize inventory.
  • Load and unload trucks and incoming materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Forklift training and certification can be provided.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate material records.
  • Check orders for accuracy before delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Assist wherever needed and work independently once trained.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable working with heavy materials and performing physical labor throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Electrical wire experience is a major plus!
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
