Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, efficiently, and responsibly.
• Material Movement: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage raw materials, finished goods, and supplies between production areas and warehouses.
• Shipment Verification: Verify incoming and outgoing material quantities while inspecting shipments carefully for accuracy and potential damage.
• Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation, rigorous material tracking procedures, and stockroom storage assistance.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment inspections, promptly report safety or maintenance concerns, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred, with strong preference given to candidates with forklift operation history.
• Teamwork & Detail: Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Reliability: Dependable work history with a strong commitment to attendance, workplace safety, and accurate inventory record-keeping.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Work Environment: Ability to work stationary for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and safely navigate a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
