Responsibilities:

  • Draft immigration applications, petitions, and other legal documents as required.
  • Collect and maintain relevant information from clients and maintain client case files.
  • Regularly communicates with assigned clients and acts as a point of contact.
  • Maintains calendars and legal deadlines for assigned client cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to promote accuracy and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Haitian Creole is desirable.
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant in an immigration law firm is highly desirable.
  • Must be proficient in case management software and legal research.
  • Must be punctual, accurate, and professional at all times.

We are looking for a bi-lingual legal assistant/paralegal to report to our Tampa, FL office. This role will include collected, documenting, and preparing immigration packets for attorney review. Additionally, this role will have regular communications with assigned clients.
