Electrician

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position is responsible for installing new wiring, such as Romex, MC cable, and pipework, and gear work while ensuring all work is completed according to applicable codes and safety standards.

The compensation for this position is dependent upon performance and knowledge, starting at $18/hour and upwards.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems
• Install and connect outlets, switches, lighting, panels, circuits, and other electrical components
• Perform electrical testing using appropriate tools and equipment
• Inspect electrical systems and identify potential safety hazards or code violations
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, contractors, and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience required
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes
• Ability to safely use electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties
