Hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Description
Mindful Measures is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. This hybrid 1099 contract position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys evaluation work, collaboration with school teams, and flexible scheduling.
The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting speech-language assessments, writing evaluation reports, participating in ARD/IEP meetings. Therapy not required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and reevaluations for school-aged students
- Interpret assessment results and prepare compliant evaluation reports
- Develop recommendations to support student programming and services
- Attend ARD/IEP meetings for assigned students as needed
- Collaborate with campus staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Work Environment:
- Student-facing responsibilities such as direct testing or observation are on campus
- Report writing, scoring, documentation, scheduling, and other administrative duties may be completed remotely
- Testing materials, protocols, and technology are provided by Mindful Measures. You are welcome to use your own as well if preferred.
- No set working hours required as long as deadlines are met, come and go from schools as-needed
Qualifications:
- Current Texas SLP license in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience conducting school-based speech-language evaluations preferred but not required
- Knowledge of IDEA, special education eligibility processes, and ARD procedures preferred
- Strong written communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with school teams

Compensation: Receive flat rate pay per evaluation plus an hourly rate for meetings.
