Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Endodontic Practice

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our endodontic specialty practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, a strong team player, and experienced in assisting with endodontic procedures. This role is essential in ensuring efficient clinical operations and delivering high-quality patient care in a boutique dental office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the endodontist during procedures, including root canal treatments, retreatments, and apical surgeries.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (including digital X-rays and CBCT scans). Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients on post-operative care.
• Manage inventory of clinical supplies and order materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in CA preferred.
• Dental x-ray license.
• Previous experience in an Endodontic practice strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software systems, digital imaging technology, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with operating microscopes and rotary endodontic systems.
• Knowledge of CBCT imaging.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Full-time or Part-time
