Concrete Carpenter

Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary

Pay Rate: Based on Experience (DOE)

Location: Edinburg, TX

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter / Finisher to support commercial and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both concrete formwork and concrete finishing, including building and setting forms, placing concrete, and completing various finishing techniques.

Candidates must be able to work safely in an active construction environment, follow project specifications, and perform physically demanding work.

• Build, install, brace, and remove concrete forms for foundations, slabs, walls, sidewalks, curbs, and other concrete structures.
• Read measurements, plans, and basic construction drawings to ensure accurate form placement.
• Set forms to the proper line, grade, elevation, and dimensions.
• Install reinforcing materials, including rebar and wire mesh, as required.
• Assist with pouring, spreading, leveling, and placing concrete.
• Use screeds, floats, trowels, edgers, and other concrete finishing tools.
• Perform broom, smooth, and other specified concrete finishes.
• Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed.
• Strip forms after concrete has properly cured.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements.
• Perform additional construction-related duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a Concrete Carpenter, Form Carpenter, and/or Concrete Finisher required.
• Experience with concrete formwork and finishing techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction measurements.
• Knowledge of proper concrete placement and finishing procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
• Must follow all company and jobsite safety policies.
• Must have a clean background

• Commercial or civil construction experience.
• Experience with foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, walls, and structural concrete.
• Experience reading blueprints or construction drawings.
• Experience with both form carpentry and concrete finishing.
