Phlebotomist - Patient Service Center

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with 2-5 years experience in a high-volume office environment to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for medical testing. This will be a Patient Service Center setting. Monday-Friday, FULL TIME day shift. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples
- Label vials accurately and ensure proper handling of samples
- Follow established protocols for specimen collection processing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies

Skills:

- Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to interact compassionately
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in specimen collection processing and clinical laboratory settings
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and blood sampling procedures

- Highly proficient in data entry/computer skills
