Facilities & Utilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities & Utilities Maintenance Technician opportunity in the Greenville, SC area for a hands-on maintenance professional with solid facility and equipment upkeep skills. In this role, you will support day-to-day preventative maintenance, general repairs, and facility upkeep, keeping production machines, utility systems, and the facility running smoothly. Experience with electrical, HVAC, or utility systems (including heaters and chillers) is a plus.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting

· Comfortable working with industrial equipment; electrical, HVAC, or utilities experience a plus

· Ability to use hand and power tools for repairs

· Self-starter, punctual, reliable, and a strong team player

· Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in an industrial environment

Responsibilities

· Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machines and facility equipment to keep them running properly

· Inspect equipment, identify problems, and make basic to moderate repairs as needed

· Maintain overall facility appearance, including general cleaning, painting, and repairs throughout the facility

· Support upkeep of utility systems such as HVAC, heaters, and chillers where applicable

· Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance repairs

· Assist maintenance staff and other employees when necessary

· Follow all company safety rules and regulations, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures

· Follow detailed oral or written instructions
