HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN – COMMERCIAL

If you can diagnose the problem, find the cause, make the repair, and get the customer back up and running — WE WANT YOU.
Tankco MEP is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician who knows how to troubleshoot — not just change parts and hope for the best.
We want a tech who can show up, think through the system, diagnose it correctly, communicate with the customer, and GET IT FIXED.
YOU KNOW HOW TO:
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot RTUs, split systems, package units, and air handlers
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Diagnose compressors, motors, contactors, relays, and components
- Perform refrigerant diagnostics and repairs
- Read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Identify the root cause instead of just replacing parts
- Clearly document repairs and recommended work
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Work independently and solve problems in the field
- Follow company safety and quality standards
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has strong commercial HVAC service experience
- Can diagnose problems without needing someone to walk them through every step
- Has strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Understands refrigeration and airflow
- Takes pride in fixing it RIGHT the first time
- Is dependable and professional
- Can communicate with customers and the office
- Has a valid driver's license
- EPA certification required
- Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman license preferred
