Certified Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Journeyman Electrician for a full-time, day-shift position in Fresno, CA, Monday through Saturday, with a temporary-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on active construction job sites while following applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and job-site safety procedures. A current California state-issued Journeyman Electrician certification/card is mandatory for this position. Candidates without this certification will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting as directed.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Install and terminate wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and equipment.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and job-site safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas clean, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades.

Requirements

• Current California Certified Journeyman Electrician card REQUIRED.
• Proven experience working as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew, with reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and working on ladders or elevated areas.
