Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain, troubleshoot,
repair, and improve the equipment used throughout our anodizing and metal finishing facility.
This is an all-around maintenance position for someone who enjoys working with industrial equipment,
solving problems, and keeping a production facility running. Previous anodizing, plating, or metal
finishing experience is preferred but not required. We are also interested in candidates with strong
mechanical skills and industrial maintenance experience who are willing to learn anodizing equipment and
processes.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Our facility uses a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, pumping, and compressed-
- air systems. Typical equipment includes:
- Industrial rectifiers and electrical equipment

- Motors, bearings, gearboxes, and related equipment
- Piping, valves, hoses, and process plumbing
- Exhaust and ventilation systems
- Tanks and anodizing line equipment
- Material handling and production equipment
- General facility and building systems
You do not need to be an expert on every piece of equipment. We are looking for someone with a strong
mechanical foundation who is comfortable figuring things out, learning new equipment, and working
safely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical equipment problems
- Repair and replace pumps, motors, valves, bearings, hoses, fittings, and other components
- Troubleshoot boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, rectifiers, and related systems
- Assist with plumbing, piping, and equipment installations
- Identify equipment problems before they cause production downtime
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help get production running again
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies
- Work with outside contractors and equipment vendors when specialized repairs are required
- Help improve equipment reliability, safety, and ease of maintenance
- Keep maintenance areas and equipment organized
- Assist with general facility maintenance as needed
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A good candidate is someone who is naturally mechanically inclined and hands-on.
- You may be a good fit if you have experience in:

- Pumps and motors
- Boilers or chillers
- Air compressors
- Industrial plumbing and piping
- Electrical troubleshooting
- HVAC or mechanical systems
- Welding or fabrication

Anodizing or plating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right mechanically skilled
person.
THE PERSON WE WANT
We value someone who:
- Likes diagnosing and solving mechanical problems
- Is comfortable getting their hands dirty
- Can work independently and take ownership of a problem
- Understands the importance of preventative maintenance
- Notices problems before they become emergencies
- Is organized with tools, parts, and ongoing projects
- Can safely work around industrial equipment and chemical-processing operations
- Is willing to learn unfamiliar equipment
- Understands that keeping production equipment operating reliably is the priority
This is not a desk job. It is a practical, hands-on position for someone who enjoys fixing things, improving
equipment, and keeping a manufacturing operation running.
EXPERIENCE
Industrial maintenance experience is preferred. Direct experience in anodizing, electroplating, metal finishing, chemical processing, or a similar manufacturing environment is especially valuable. However, candidates with strong mechanical abilities from other industrial backgrounds are encouraged to
apply. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to
learn.
