ELECTRICAL SERVICE DIVISION MANAGER (Direct Hire)

Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Manager to run the Service Division of a fast growing Commercial/Industrial Design~Build contractor in Austin, Texas. This role oversees and leads other managers, support Staff and the entire service operation. The ideal candidate will have broad operational and leadership experience to include P&L responsibility for the Division.

Qualifications:

· Proven leadership of a large Electrical Operations/Service Department

· Ability to maintain and grow book of business

· Strong financial acumen: monitor and manage P&L, pricing, labor efficiency and cost control

· Ensure all work performed complies with applicable licensing requirements, NEC, OSHA and Company safety standards

· Develop and retain Service Department team talent to support operational growth

· Manage service fleet, tools, equipment & material logistics

· Comfortable working in the office or field

Certifications & requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field

· Extensive electrical trade experience in Commercial/Industrial projects – 7-10 years+

· Journeyman License or Master Electrician

· 5+ years of high volume electrical department management

· OSHA 30

Technology:

· Service management software such as ServiceTrade, FieldEdge or equivalent

· Microsoft Office Suite

· CRM or ERP system for tracking & reporting

· Dispatch & Scheduling platforms

· Microsoft Teams or Zoom
