Reach Truck Operator

Job Title: Reach Truck Operator (Warehouse)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime available as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, safely operating reach trucks and sit-down forklifts, and handling inventory in a fast-paced environment. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Reach Truck and Sit-Down Forklift to transport, store, and retrieve materials.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently while following all safety procedures.
• Pick, put away, and retrieve pallets from racking systems up to 30–40 feet high.
• Perform large-scale inventory moves and stage products for warehouse transfers.
• Use a PDA handheld scanner to accurately scan, track, and process inventory.
• Verify product counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recent warehouse experience operating Reach Trucks and Sit-Down Forklifts.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Comfortable working at heights of 30–40 feet while operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.
• Experience with inventory movement, staging, and warehouse organization.
• Experience using PDA handheld scanning devices.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
