Location: Seneca Falls & Union Springs, NY
Job Type: Full-Time (40+ hours/week)
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Hours of Operation: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Shifts May Vary)
Sweet Grass is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budmasters to join our growing dispensary team. You’ll be the face of our brand—helping customers select the right cannabis products, providing excellent service, and promoting a welcoming, educational environment.
What You’ll Do
Greet and advise customers on cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
Stay up-to-date with new products and the latest cannabis industry trends
Educate customers on proper usage, dosages, and effects of cannabis products
Process sales accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
Maintain inventory levels and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized
Ensure cleanliness and professional appearance of the dispensary
Uphold strict compliance with company policies and NYS cannabis regulations
Protect company assets including cash and product
Collaborate with team members and management to maintain smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For
Must be at least 21 years old (State requirement)
Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and their medicinal benefits
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (required)
Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience (required)
Proven experience as a Budmaster or Budtender preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
Must be able to stand for 6+ hours and lift up to 40 pounds
Flexible availability including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable transportation required
Must be able to pass a drug test
