As a Medication Aide Certified MAC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications to patients as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professionals
• Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to healthcare staff
• Assisting with vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature checks
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Current Medication Aide Certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
