Staff Development & Infection Prevention Nurse
Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide an effective program to monitor the quality of care provided to residents in the facility.
To provide an effective program of orientation and staff development.
To supervise the infection control program.
Develop, review, and revise the facility Quality Assessment and Assurance program to comply with regulatory requirements.
Identify quality of resident care concerns, schedule, and implement monitoring systems.
Review facility policies and procedures and make recommendations for revision to improve the quality of residents' care.
Shift Type: Monday - Friday

Qualifications
Graduate of an approved nursing program
Current/active license as a registered nurse in PA
Two years of professional nursing experience
Knowledge of PDPM
Knowledge of Medicare Guidelines
Familiarity with Federal and State Long-Term Care Requirements
