Denver, NC, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description
Temporary Welder – MIG/TIG
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Temporary Welders to support our manufacturing operations on a short-term basis. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG welding experience, proficiency with TIG welding, and the ability to work with stainless steel materials.
This position requires a skilled welder who can read and interpret blueprints, understand detailed specifications, and produce quality weldments in a custom manufacturing environment. Because many of the products are built to individual customer specifications, welders must be comfortable working with different dimensions, configurations, and drawings rather than performing the same repetitive welds every day.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work instructions, and job specifications.
  • Build and weld components accurately according to provided drawings and measurements.
  • Work with a variety of custom-fabricated components where dimensions and specifications may change from one job or piece to another.
  • Measure, fit, align, and position components prior to welding to ensure proper dimensions and fit-up.
  • Select appropriate welding processes, settings, techniques, and materials based on the job requirements.
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality, appearance, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify and correct welding defects or dimensional issues when necessary.
  • Maintain proper weld penetration, bead appearance, and overall weld quality.

  • Experience with dimensional inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in various positions while welding and fabricating.
  • Ability to safely handle and position metal materials and components.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
