Location: Wayne, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time
Available Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM | 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This facility utilizes paper documentation, so candidates must be comfortable with handwritten charting and accurate clinical documentation.

Must Haves
  • Active New Jersey LPN License in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Sub-Acute experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Comfortable working in a paper charting/documentation environment
  • Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to identify, assess, and report changes in resident condition
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
Nice to Have
  • Experience with wound care and treatment management
  • IV Certification (where applicable)
  • Experience caring for rehabilitation, sub-acute, or memory care residents
  • Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience
  • Flexible availability to pick up additional shifts
Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions using paper medical records
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality nursing care while promoting resident dignity and independence
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely handwritten documentation
  • Educate residents and families regarding medications and care plans
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
