Shift: Evenings | 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM (8-Hour Shifts)

Join a respected acute care hospital as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and enjoys working with a collaborative perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgery.
• Scrub and circulate cases as required based on departmental needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the perioperative team.
• Ensure patient safety, sterile technique, and compliance with hospital policies and AORN standards.
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.

Must-Haves

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Minimum 3 years of recent General Operating Room experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• CNOR Certification
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties
• Previous travel nursing experience
