Patient Care Coordinator
Location: 1120 W Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs preferred
Interview Process: In-person, 1–2 rounds
Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for patients and support the daily operations of the clinic. This role is responsible for providing a friendly and professional patient experience, completing registration tasks, maintaining accurate patient information, and assisting with general clerical and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner and check them in for scheduled visits.
- Enter and update patient registration information, including demographics and insurance details.
- Make appointment reminder calls to patients.
- Scan and upload documents into the appropriate systems.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Support smooth front-desk and clinic operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, Medical Assistants, Clinicians, and Nurses.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Assist with additional office tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Patient Care Coordinator or Medical Receptionist experience.
- Experience using EPIC EMR.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Team Environment
The Patient Care Coordinator will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes Medical Assistants, Clinicians, and Nurses to support efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
No professional license or certification is required for this position.
