We are seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our team on a part‐time basis. The ideal candidate is detail‐oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.

Position Summary

The Probate Paralegal will support attorneys with probate matters including Summary Administration, Ancillary Administration, and Formal Administration. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and organize research and case information
  • Research statutes, case law, and administrative orders
  • Prepare written reports and summaries
  • Perform records searches
  • Draft legal documents for Summary, Ancillary, and Formal Administration
  • Proofread all documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Track, organize, and maintain case files
  • Calendar deadlines and follow up with clients as needed
  • Schedule hearings and coordinate with judicial assistants
  • Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, clerks, and other legal professionals
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, invoices, and related materials

Qualifications

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of probate paralegal experience required
  • Strong understanding of Florida probate procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
  • Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment

Compensation & Schedule

  • Part‐time: 20–30 hours per week
  • Competitive pay based on experience
